Making a difference – that is what we are doing at Youth Now on Track Services. YNOT began with a willingness to serve the community and to advocate for challenged youth and their families. YNOT provides prevention and intervention strategies to divert youth away from dangers of the streets and empower them to become productive members of society. We help them to set and achieve their goals. We address youth violence and offer a holistic service approach including counselling, mediation and recreational activities to address crime prevention. We help them back into school; empower them to overcome their personal challenges and to reach their full potential. We the board members of YNOT are in awe of everything that our donor and volunteers have helped to achieve so far. Thanks to you, we have been providing life-changing support – through information, peer support, and advocacy, we have made a significant difference to the Youth of York West. Amadeusz, guiding principles and techniques for facilitating alternative education programs for youth in Toronto, was used to launch the Look At My Life Project in 2009. The Look At My Life Project is dedicated to social justice with an objective to enhance and advance the futures of incarcerated young people by influencing public policy and sharing our best practices with stakeholders and government alike. Our objectives are to provide opportunities for young people remanded to custody and increase educational achievement levels so they are better prepared to create positive change within their own lives. In doing so, the Look At My Life Project serves individuals from various communities across the City of Toronto and has developed partnerships with three detention centres in Toronto and the Vanier Centre For Women in Milton.

BBYO is active in more than 60 communities across North America and operates programs around the world, including in Israel and Europe. BBYO’s endless number of individual success stories—from politicians and top business executives to Jewish communal leaders and cutting-edge entrepreneurs—have been built on a proven model of exceptional identity enrichment and leadership development experiences, and research shows that BBYO participation leads to powerful Jewish connections, attitudes and practices later in life. BBYO’s renowned leadership model of experiential democracy, with teens leading other teens and creating their own BBYO programs under the guidance of adult volunteers and staff, is carried out through AZA chapters (for young men) and BBG chapters (for young women). Teens are given real responsibilities and develop leadership skills that relate to their everyday lives. By practicing public speaking, program planning and community organizing, BBYO teens build the skills that not only make them more confident and capable of navigating the challenging teen years, but also prepare them to make positive contributions to the world around them as adults. BBYO members organize and participate in leadership development conferences and Jewish identity programs as well as social activities like movie nights, dances and sports tournaments. Additionally, the BBYO Panim Institute offers compelling content and experiences focused on service, advocacy and philanthropy, ultimately creating a movement of young activists ready to take on the challenges facing society and the Jewish community.
