Ian seemed like a great guy and was kind enough to provide a free quote for me to unclog a tub, and change out two taps. Although he showed up 2 and a half hours late, leaving me waiting in the car waiting outside the house for that time. I was quoted $150 per hour for the service call plus about $50-60 per tap, and that he could probably get it done in an hour or two. Coming to what I estimated around $450 give or take. I booked the appointment for the Friday where he was once again late by 30 minutes. Ian and his partner spent 20 minutes attempting to unclog the tub just to let me know that they were not able to do it as they did not bring the correct snake for the job. They then purchased and installed two taps over $100 each without discussing it with me, and sent me the bill for over $700. It was then explained the service call fee of $150 is just for showing up, labour not included for that first hour. When I reached out about my concerns with the low quote and high price tag, I was simply told “I didn't miss lead anything, you called for a service I gave you good fast service, please pay the invoice”. Fast? Late. Good? Still have a clogged tub. So in conclusion, two replaced taps for $700 is the deal you get with Pavati Plumbing & Water.
