Marcia Meyer's music can be described as New Age, ambient with delicate use of nature sounds. Recording out of Vancouver this composer-pianist creates original music and as a musician is a songwriter, classically trained often using electronic computers and synthesizers. Marcia Cooney Meyer and Paul Marcano recorded an album Beyond One in 2007 which was Marcia's first official recording since her Natural Reflections album of 1989 which followed her incredible Oregon Summer and her first album Phases in 1981. It featured an eclectic mix of songs for nylon string classical guitar, piano, and flute soundscapes. Her music can be used for soundtracks with permission and is available as mp3s downloads, CDs, and rare vinyl albums. This independent indie artist is a performing singer and vocalist who in the past has sung with the Bach Choir. She has also played with Patricia Dahlquist and Ross Barrett and worked with Mary Watkins who scored the string sections on Oregon Summer.

I provide expert instruction in all styles of guitar including classical, jazz, blues, and contemporary to students of all ages and levels, and am also available for ukulele lessons. I also provide live music services in a variety of styles and formats. I have no employees but I do have ensemble partners. I have only one location When students come to my studio, they will find a clean, professional music studio with a separate entrance, waiting room, and bathroom. Students will be encouraged to develop their talent and abilities by a very patient and experienced teacher, who's only goal is to keep them moving forward on their musical journey.

The Rogue Folk Club is a registered non-profit Society in the Province of British Columbia. It was formed in the Spring of 1987 to present concerts of Celtic, Folk and Roots Music in Vancouver. The Club is a founding member of the North American Folk Music and Dance (formed in 1989), and has been a member of the Vancouver Alliance for Arts and Culture since its inception. The Rogue Folk Club provides a unique approach to concert presentation, offering audiences the opportunity to see and hear some of the most accomplished musicians and singers in the world in a relaxed, intimate setting. The vast majority of our shows take place at St James Hall (3214 West 10th Avenue, in Kitsilano) and we also stage several shows per year at the Blueshore Financial Centre for the Performing Arts (2055 Purcell Way, North Vancouver) in the Cap Global Roots Series - which is a joint venture of the Rogue Folk Club and Capilano University.

Band members hail from Ireland and one from Scotland, however The Irish Rovers formed in Toronto, Canada. They have produced over 40 albums in North America with many more internationally. The band has regularly toured Canada, the United States, New Zealand and Australia. As young Irish immigrants themselves, the Rovers became so much a part of the Canadian cutlure that Canada’s Prime Minister Trudeau personally asked them to become Canadian citizens so they could officially represent Canada around the world.
