Pacific Empire Minerals Corp. (PEMC) is a private mineral exploration company exploring for copper-gold-silver porphyry deposits in British Columbia, Canada. PEMC employs the Prospect Generator business model, which allows for the company to maintain exposure to discovery by diluting its interest in its properties, rather than diluting its shareholders. Through joint venture and option agreements, PEMC attracts partners to expend exploration dollars on projects while receiving annualized cash and/or share payments. The key to success, in management’s perspective, is to provide partners with high quality exploration opportunities in low risk jurisdictions with good access and infrastructure. Mr. Peters began working for Canadian junior exploration companies in 2007, and has been involved in mineral property exploration, management, acquisition, development and research in British Columbia, the Yukon, Ontario, Arizona and Mexico. From humble but determined beginnings, the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia (AME BC) has grown to be one of the most respected mining organizations in North America. Along the way it has strived to advance the interests of all those involved in the mining industry. And by all accounts it has succeeded at that goal. AME BC's inaugural Salary Survey was received very favourably, and the fourth edition of Safety Guidelines for Mineral Exploration in Western Canada was released. With the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada, AME BC launched a nationwide safety survey that builts on AME BC's 26 year record of promoting safety awareness in British Columbia and Yukon. The new Stepping Stone newsletter aimed at increasing understanding between First Nations and the mineral exploration and mining community. AME BC's magazine was also rebranded Mineral Exploration as a voice for the BC-based mineral exploration community. In December, the inaugural Crisis Communications Workshop was held.
