British and North American sterling silver predominates our stock although we do carry pieces from Europe and other parts of the world. We always have a large selection of Birks sterling silver and Birks flatware in the shop. We carefully select our stock from sources around the world to ensure the highest quality and best condition possible. The firm was established in Vancouver in September of 1990. A life long Vancouverite and third generation antique dealer, Justin Tee, started the business as a part-time endeavour while completing his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of British Columbia. In 1993, Justin began his career in the antiques business in earnest when J. Tee Antiques opened up it's showroom on the premises of R. V. Tee & Son's Granville Street location. JH Tee Antiques Ltd. is a member of the Canadian Antique Dealers Association.

Durga Interiors is a small retail gallery located on 3566 West 4th Avenue [at Dunbar Street] in the beautiful City of Vancouver, British Columbia on Canada's scenic West Coast. The store is an inspirational conception through travels to India and is a labour of love for owner, Ray, collector of Indian art and antiques, both locally and abroad, for over five years. Ray was born and raised in the Indian subcontinent and has always been fascinated with Indian culture and art scene. Durga Interiors specializes in modern and antique furniture, art, exotic textiles, modern, vintage and antique home decor items, grand and small, from all over the Indian Subcontinent. It is a beautiful collection of exquisite traditional art combined with functionality and style. We also specialize in carrying authentic and rare Ayurvedic essential oils from India to annoint the body and the divine as well as to lend a soulful fragrance to any space. Through his travels to India and Pakistan and experiencing first hand how people live and have been living for ages, Ray has come to learn that it is quite possible to harmoniously blend art and practicality, exoticism and simplicity and most importantly, comfort and design. Through the exploration of our diverse Canadian cultural identity we offer innovative public programming in exhibitions, performances, artist talks, publications and special projects. Our mandate is to inspire public dialogue by creating an environment conducive to the emergence of innovative, collaborative, and provocative Canadian contemporary art. History Grunt first opened its doors in September of 1984. A group of eight artists had been meeting throughout that summer in a storefront space on East 6th Avenue in Vancouver to discuss the possibilities and practicalities of opening a gallery. Our direction, from the beginning, was based on the desire to support artists who often worked in isolation and to provide them with the resources to exhibit work that might otherwise go unrecognized.
