Durga Interiors is a small retail gallery located on 3566 West 4th Avenue [at Dunbar Street] in the beautiful City of Vancouver, British Columbia on Canada's scenic West Coast. The store is an inspirational conception through travels to India and is a labour of love for owner, Ray, collector of Indian art and antiques, both locally and abroad, for over five years. Ray was born and raised in the Indian subcontinent and has always been fascinated with Indian culture and art scene. Durga Interiors specializes in modern and antique furniture, art, exotic textiles, modern, vintage and antique home decor items, grand and small, from all over the Indian Subcontinent. It is a beautiful collection of exquisite traditional art combined with functionality and style. We also specialize in carrying authentic and rare Ayurvedic essential oils from India to annoint the body and the divine as well as to lend a soulful fragrance to any space. Through his travels to India and Pakistan and experiencing first hand how people live and have been living for ages, Ray has come to learn that it is quite possible to harmoniously blend art and practicality, exoticism and simplicity and most importantly, comfort and design. Durga Interiors' aim is to bring that same well-appointed gracious art of Indian living, past and present, here to Vancouver and infuse it with our own home styles - whatever it may be: sleek and modern or rustic and spiritual.
