This business ruined my 1988 AMC Jeep Comanche AX5 5 speed Transmission by forgetting to top off the Oil. The owner claims he did the work himself but was also surprised that the area around the transmission showed no evidence of oil splatter. Does He really believed that someone drained it out?!? Because He argues He put it in?!? Nobody would do that, the first thing that comes to mind is human error. This is also shared by other transmission dealers. I'm a Certified Mechanical Technologist with my Quebec Certificate. Running the Jeep at 100kph for 300 kph created the heat that would damage the bearings and other parts. I love my Jeep and worked on it daily for 6 Months, I have my time and my pension money invested in it. The vehicle was idle for 3 1/2 months in a private garage after Beamsville Transmission & Auto Service Inc. did the Rebuild. I did body and restoration work. Then, I had the Truck professorially painted and the Bed coated with Line-X in December/January. At no time was there any evidence of oil splatter on the Truck Frame or on the cement in the garage I worked. Also, The two businesses the Jeep was sent to never saw the Jeep leak. These two businesses have offered to collaborate that with dozens of other Beamsville witnesses. I paid $1150.00 for the rebuild and supplied the premium parts. The Truck's transmission failed on the 401 after whining was heard and couldn't downshift, I was Stranded. The Owner wanted $730.00 more to repair it but found the gears inside damaged and wanted Me to find a scrap transmission. When I had enough and refused to pay, they kicked Me out and put my Jeep outside with the disassembled transmission in the cab. I am Sad and Angry that this business has only wanted Money, I will fight them Professionally and Legally as I mentioned when I left. These people also have several family members participating in the business online reviews adding 5 stars. The Owner will seem nice and you will trust Him but inside is a different person that is greedy for your money and will never own up to a mistake. He told Me his work was Guaranteed but failed to honor that after the low oil was found. He may answer a Negative review with nonsense but He will loose business because Beamsville is a small town and former friends will pass the word around. Your Negligence is starting to show up.
