One of the worst buildings I have ever lived in. It looks like a very nice building on the outside, but the inside is not nice. Most of the time in the underground parking, the garbage cans are overflowing. The elevator floors are usually filthy, and the elevators usually have weird smells in them. The supers are very rarely around. When they are in the office, they will either shut the door as you approach it, or have a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. If you try to call them, no one answers the phone. There is an email address to email them, and that seems to be the best way to contact them, as they don't seem to like dealing with people. The most recent hassle was that they upgraded the system for the parking garage. A lot of the transmitter numbers did not get re-entered, which I'm sure the supers had access to the numbers and could have put these in to allow people to use their transmitters to park underground, which is included in their rent. My husband and I were not so fortunate. When coming home from work one afternoon, he couldn't get the transmitter to work, so he just followed another vehicle in to the garage. The next morning, him and 6 other people were stuck in the garage, making him late for work, and causing him to lose some wages. We were forced to park in the visitor's along with a bunch of other tenants. I had to call in to register our vehicle for the next 3 nights so we wouldn't get a ticket. I did notice that several other tenants did get tickets the next day. Knowing that this was a problem, Drewlo should have made arrangements with the parking control people to just leave this particular parking lot alone until the issue with the garage is resolved. Or, Drewlo should have made sure that people could access the garage by keeping the doors open. None of this happened. People can now exit the garage, but our transmitter is still not working. We will have to continue to follow people into the garage. The workout area is c*** too. Half the equipment is broken. The pool's paint is starting to peel off the sides. It sometimes takes several weeks to have the appliances in the unit fixed. Again, the use of these appliances is included in the rent, and because of that, they should be attended to in a timely manner. We are still waiting to have our furnace fixed, as it was leaking last summer. We filled out a work order last September, and they didn't even try to contact us to let us know when it will be looked at. It will probably be leaking next summer again, but fortunately, we are moving in a week and a half, and it's no longer our concern. We only moved here because my husband and I went down to one vehicle, and it was close to my work so I could walk. It is also right across the street from the mall and central to a lot of stores, restaurants, etc. We are moving back to our old apartment building. It is quiet, which this one is not, and the neighbourhood is much nicer. There's not a ton of traffic around. We would not recommend anyone renting an apartment from this company. We've had nothing but bad experiences from excessive noise which would not be addressed, to things not being fixed.
