Today I visited thus store to buy a bottle of Gatorade. When I bought and paid it, I noticed they charged me $3 for one, but they sell two for $4. Therefore I asked to get a second one for $1 more, but the lady at the cashier said I only can buy two more and pay $4 extra. Then she started giving me nonsense explanation saying because the sale already went through the system, it is impossible to make any changes. Then I told her I would like to return the bottle I bought. Interestingly she responded their return policy only allows return of merchandise if it was not paid for (so if you stole something you can return it at Hasty Market 😆). When I told her their policy doesn't make sense, then the real trouble started; she started screaming at me, calling me name and insulting my assumed race and skin color. When I told her what she is saying is not appropriate, she said she doesn't care and if I am very offended, I can take it up with her manager. When I asked for the manager, first she started calling the manager on the phone, but then she hung up the phone saying I can wait there till night for the manager. Shortly later when accidentally the manager walked in, she approached and whispered few words to him. When I tried to have a conversation with the manager, he did not let me speak, told me to shut the f***k up and get the f***k out of his store (nothing criminal, legally allowed under Trespass to Property Act, just very rude way to say it). When I told him I will contact Hasty Market parent company (Farah Food) while walking out, he said he doesn't give a f***k about the corporation because it is his store and I can do anything I want. Then he added if I ever comeback to his store he will f***k me up while rushing toward me with a close fist which gave me the belief he is going to hit me (Criminal Assault). I recommend if you are a minority and don't want to be insulted and assaulted, stay away from this store. It is interesting that both the employee and the manager were minority but still did not care to use a insulting racially motivated hateful language with their customer. Also the return was possible as the manager at one point told the employee to give me a refund and kick me out.
