I admit to trying a colonic at the Healthy Digestion Centre out of curiosity, wanting to find out what it was like. I was very pleasantly surprised. The whole experience was easy, not at all awkward or embarrassing. It was an experience I enjoyed and I eagerly signed up for more sessions. The two practitioners are Michelle and Michele. They are both excellent at working the hydrotherapy machine which circulates water into the colon. They also keep up a good conversation during the 45 minute session and the time passes quickly. On a technical note, the machine is of the closed type which means that the p**p and water flow out together through a tube straight to the sewer system so that there are no odours. It is fascinating to watch the lumps pass by through the transparent tube. As to whether the colonic treatments have actually helped my digestion, I am not sure but I think they did. Both practitioners deserve a 5 star rating and I look forward to visiting them again.
