if you have any other place to stay while under going treatment in halifax...do..Point Pleasant Lodge is one of the most horrible places for cancer patients I could imagine, ceiling is falling in, mold in bathroom, beds are single hospital beds that have been tossed out of hospitals to be re-used in hotel. If your staying in a place like a lodge, good chances are your not rolling in money, well bring lot,s if your staying any amount of time, restaurant in hotel, VERY expensive. over 5.50 for coffee and bagel. staff is rude and it seems like they think they're doing you a favor, housekeeping comes every third or fourth day..blah..if cancer isnt depressing enough, stay here, it'll put you in a foul mood, I wonder how many people have comptemplated jumping out these windows, cause they do open all the way, and thank heavens for that, it's so hot in the rooms, you need to keep them open just to breathe...
