Just went to North Hill shopping center in Calgary for the first time in awhile to find new parking in effect. It is all free for a couple hours. Depending on which area you park in you might have to register your vehicle license plate. According to the small map on the door of the mall, I thought we were in the "green" zone, (in front of Boston Pizza) which doesn't require registration. My kids and I were in the mall for approximately 30-45 min. We came out to find a $70 parking ticket! Not sure where the confusion is, me, the attendant, or the map but judging from the number of tickets on the vehicles around mine, I wasn't the only one not clear on the "zones". Please make this more clear for the future so people don't have to pay $70 to use a free lot for 30 minutes!!!
