I purchased a pair of prescription glasses at Theodore & Pringle Optical at Zehrs, Alliston in June 2023. When I got to the place I felt like walking back out again since the place is small, without privacy from the rest of the store (Zehrs) and it was fairly crowded. The 2 store employees seem to be very disorganized and in each other's way. But I finally got my order placed with p/up in 2 weeks. I got my new glasses fairly soon - but I was surprised by the THICK lenses that were put in the frames - my old glasses from 11 years ago, after my cataract operation, have much thinner lenses and I still use them today (not made by T + P ) I felt like giving my new glasses back to the store and ask for my money back ( $329.00 ) but unfortunately, I did not. Have worn these glasses only once, but because they are heavy on the bridge of my nose, I decided to leave them permanently in a drawer at home. Theodore + Pringle ?? Never again.
