This camp is horrible. The counselors put up a good front but they are really mean. The food is disgusting, the sleeping arrangements are hell and there is absolutely no independent free time. The counselors treat campers like preschoolers and never let them out of their sight. In high school I knew some guys who spent some time in ‘juvy’ (aka prison for teens) and they said that my living conditions were worse then what they experienced during their incarceration. Campers literally sleep on a wooden board with only a thin piece of foam above the board. The punishments are so bad that they could be classified as torture and break the Geneva Convention! Also, if you don’t want to eat their disgusting food they will either punish you or trick you into eating it by saying it’s actually something else. It’s been well over 10 years since I was there and my doctor says I’ve got PSTD from being there. Stay away at all costs!
