About 30 years ago my son met Kate when she first opened her shop in Waterdown. My husband passed away 29 years ago and Carl introduced me to Kate. I had a few pieces of jewelry redesigned by Kate at that time. One piece was a solitaire amethyst ring my sons had given me as young children. I never really liked it as a single stone, so Kate helped us redesign the ring with the amethyst , joining with my diamond wedding ring to make a beautiful ring I love.
