Four of us had a 5:30 pm reservation. Arrived at 5:20 pm and decided to eat inside (there were a few people on the patio but we were the only patrons inside the restaurant. Took 10 minutes for the waitress to get us menus, then another 20 minutes to take our order. Meanwhile more people came into the restaurant. After about another 20 minutes we started to notice the other tables were getting their food but we got nothing. Anyway, long story short we finally got our meals served at 6:45 pm (85 minutes after we entered the restaurant). On top of that mine was supposed to come with garlic bread & I had to ask for it. We even had to ask for more water. We were seated right next to the main isle and the waiters must have walked past us 15 times yet no one clued in that nearly 1 1/2 hours after entering we hadn't yet been served. Food was adequate but nothing special in taste or value. When the meals finally showed up the waitress didn't even apologize for our long wait and then to add insult to injury when our friends paid with cash she asked if they wanted the change. They left her a 20 cent tip which was more than she deserved. If you want to get some of the worst service in the city then the Canalside is the place for you. Otherwise find another restaurant that actually values your business.
