On my first class the instructor said “Keep working, you’re in here because you are doing something for yourself. Don’t let yourself down”. In that moment, as I felt sweat coming out of places I didn’t even know I could sweat from and saw the people I was sharing the matte with give their best, I knew this was my matte. The instructors, your fellow kickboxers and the energy make you feel like you are part of a community that wants you to be BADASS.
