I was stuck on the 417 at the Rockdale exit. I called Ottawa Metro Towing and inquired what it would cost me to have my car towed to Maxwells Auto Repair in Orleans. I was told $145 + tax. The operator told me he could have a truck there in 7 minutes. Well it took longer but the wait was worth it. The tow truck driver was very congenial (Guy ) and easy to talk too. I discovered he was new at this business. I think Ottawa Metro are lucky to have a young man like Guy working for them. Although his truck had no AC, and it was a very hot day, Guy took it all in his stride he maintained his composure with a pleasant attitude . My wife got there while Guy was placing the car on his flatbed tow truck. We followed him in. As we were driving on the 417 towards Ottawa, Guy pulled over and told me his truck was low on fuel and ask me if I would mind following him back to the Ottawa Metro garage to get some fuel. We didn't have a choice of course. It turns out the last driver who had the truck hadn't refilled it. However with all the horror stories on the news and on-line we wondered if we were being taken for a ride. After all I've heard of companies playing dirty and impounding cars. However there were no hidden agendas here ... after about ten minutes Guy came back and we happily followed him to Maxwells. You know, it really makes a difference when you deal with someone like Guy who is professional, happy, and willing to answer questions.Wed think a guy such as this is a valuable asset to your company. Payment was handled over the phone and we were given a receipt. Thank you Ottawa Metro and Guy for the excellent service.
