In 2017 I had to abruptly pull my son from the daycare program. He was having behaviour problems due to mistreatment by staff. There are some really lovely staff there, but several really harsh, miserable staff as well. They barely communicated to me. I didn’t find out the extent of the issues until I caught a staff member physically restraining my child and later received a call from a psychologist who wanted to code him ODD. Interesting part of the call was how many times he mentioned FUNDING. I switched to a new facility and had ZERO problems from day one. All he needed was to feel safe.
