This is the worst extensions I have ever had from start to finish. First of all, she works out of her apartment , which would be fine except she cannot control her dog who was jumping on me, biting me, etc. at one point her dog grabbed a bunch of the hair I had purchased and was chewing on it. At no point did Jenay offer to wash that hair or even apologize, she just tried to put it on my head!!! Covered in dog saliva and half chewed! She laughed it off. If you are allergic to animals then be aware she has 2 cats and 1 new puppy who is not at all trained. I found her extremely unprofessional and her prices are outrages given the service and hair quality. Her blending technique is non existent, which she kind of hides in her IG posts bc she curls her freshly done work. In reality when it’s all said and done, the hair does not blend and looks cheap. Her beads are the older kind made of lead, some are rusty, etc. they are not the newer beads which are not metal (not sure the material of the newer beads but she does not use them). Her hair holds a lot of water, so it’s partially synthetic, and takes forever to blow dry and style. Jenay is a nice enough person but she doesn’t really seem to care too much about customer service or customer satisfaction where other hair extension providers seem to go above and beyond for clients. I recommend seeing someone else in the area for nano technique like Paige at bond bar or Nikki and bubbles and Blo if you want a salon. I am surprised Jenay has maintained clients given my experience but at her price point it’s expected. But hey, you get what you pay for!
