Founded in 2010 as a charitable organization, Urban Squash Toronto strives to ensure Toronto’s underserved youth future success. Offering an intense after-school education program together with concentrated squash training, Urban Squash helps motivated and talented students reach their full academic, athletic and personal potentials. Our organization aims to broaden youths’ horizons through the provision of a comprehensive education plan which includes squash training, academic tutoring, mentoring, community service, cultural trips and more. All Urban Squash students are provided with a healthy meal during each program day. Participants are selected at the Grade 6 level and remain in the program throughout their high school years. Urban Squash Toronto currently serves 85 students from the Jane and Finch area. At the beginning of each academic year, an additional 20 students are invited to the program.

More than 120 routes keep residents connected within York Region, as well as connecting services in the City of Toronto and the Region of Peel. In addition, Mobility Plus provides door-to-door shared-ride accessible public transit service for people with disabilities. Our two-hour transfers let you travel on any YRT/Viva vehicle for up to two hours, in any direction, with a single cash fare. Just remember to keep your validated ticket or transfer as proof of payment to board YRT/Viva vehicles.

Behaviour Matters is dedicated to providing social skills group programs for children of all ages. Our unique programs will help children to develop the skills that they require in order for them to lead positive and productive lives. Our programs are offered in the daytime, after school and on the weekends. Cheri Boros, CYC, CYW (CERT.) and Karen Connort, CYC, CYW (CERT.) are members of the Child and Youth Counsellors Association and are co-founders of Behaviour Matters. They have over 25 years direct experience working with children and teens in educational and mental health settings. Their work often includes offering individual and group counselling for children, teens and parents and running work-shops and seminars with behaviour and emotional adjustment as the focus.
