TDU (Théâtre Dérives Urbaines) is a professional theatre established over twenty years ago in the Ottawa region. During that period, the company was able to strike a balance between its original artistic approach (research and creation) and theatrical presentations designed to meet specific objectives of customers (customized theatre). From an artistic point of view, the company differs from others in that it has developed and perfected an interactive art form. TDU has created numerous productions aimed at young audiences as well as the general public. Dramatic storytelling, appartment theatre and forum theatre are some of the styles fostered by the company. In addition, TDU has on many occasions serviced local and national organizations and produced made-to-order theatre.
