Presbyterians have long known that their purpose was to "glorify God and to enjoy Him for ever". It has become popular in all kinds of organizations, both spiritual and secular, to have a "mission statement". We at Parkwood began working on one in 1988, and it was accepted in early 1990. Witness the Spirit of the Sikhs this April 15th to 17th as the Sikh Heritage Month Celebrations take over the Nation’s Capital. Ottawa will be home to an exhibit based festival that will look to immerse audiences in the rich history of the Sikh people in Canada and abroad through a multitude of art forms. In 2013, the Ontario government passed and received royal assent on a bill that officially recognized April as Sikh Heritage Month. Since 2014, the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) has celebrated Sikh Heritage Month. History was made, in 2015, when the Sikh Community partnered with the Peel Art Gallery Museum & Archives (PAMA) in Brampton to celebrate Sikh Heritage Month through a month long series of exhibits, attracting thousands of attendees.

Rideauview Bible Chapel are a non-denominational local Christian church located in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. We meet to learn from God’s Word, Praise and Worship our Saviour, and help one another with life’s many challenges. You’ll find food for your body and your soul. During the school year, every Sunday a family from Rideauview hosts the College and Careers for lunch. The last Sunday of every month is potluck for the whole church from September to June.
