?Since it first opened in 1938, the Half Moon Drive In has become a famous Manitoba destination. A family drive along the Red River for a deluxe dog has become a tradition. ? The spring of 1983 saw the old Half Moon close its doors and a larger, more modern restaurant opened it's doors closer to the historic St. Andrews Lock and Dam. Since that time, the Half Moon has taken great care in maintaining the high standards that were developed from the original owners. ? In addition to our famous hot dogs, the Half Moon serves up mouth-watering hamburgers, ice cold Pepsi, tasty homemade fries, and both hard and soft ice cream treats and sweets.
