Tim Gee is the only Canadian to win a main event in the World of Outlaw sprint car races. He did it twice. Tim & Ruth have been a fixture in the Western Canadian race scene for more than 20 years. GGR has become a business built on the foundation of helping other racers. After a short career of racing sprint cars in the World of Outlaws Tour in the late 80s, Tim Gee and Ruth Gee caught word that there was going to be a new racing facility opening up (now where Castrol Raceway sits). Ruth and Tim decided to move back and open GGR. It’s doors officially opened in June of 1991. Tim & Ruth have a deep rooted passion for racing and saw the opening of the new raceway near Edmonton as an opportunity to give back and help the race community. They wanted to help the hard core racers with top quality parts, service and fabrication. They also saw a need to help the race enthusiast who was just beginning their career in racing. Today they continue helping the local race community by offering high quality parts and service for racers along with distributing Hoosier Tires as the Western Canada Hoosier Tire Distributor. Tim Gee Owner Raced professionally for 10 years in World of Outlaws. Only Canadian to win an official World of Outlaw feature event - twice. Husband, father, coach, mentor, outdoorsman and community champion. Ruth Gee Owner Supported and toured with Tim during his professional racing days. Wife, mother, scrapbooker, camper and family orientated. Rocky Borys Fabricator/Welder Part time racer with a love of hotrods and race cars. Has been with GGR for over 10 years. Welder, racer, partyman, rock n roller and proud father. Daniel Theberge Fabricator/Builder A Mopar Fanatic that caught the bug at the tender age of 4. All it took was a ride in his Dad's 67 Coronet R/T. For 12 years he custom built Mopar V8s. Musician, horsepower junkie and Mopar aficionado.
