I had a terrible experience here and I'll never bring anything back for repair. The shoes (a simple repair) didn't look very good when I picked them up. I asked "Why did you use black thread on a tan shoe?", he said "It's on the inside so it doesn't matter." I said "But the sewing is so sloppy that you can see the black thread on the outside." He (I believe the owner) said, emphatically, "No." He repeated "No" a few more times and it was clear that I was getting nothing from him, not an apology and certainly not my money back, which I had been requested to pay up front and which I felt was too much to begin with. I told him I would let others know and he said, "Fine with me." The shoes are fixed but look worse than when I took them in.

I went to this place after going to another shoe place and getting my daughter's dancing shoes wrecked paying a steep price. I went to this huge store at the lower level of Upper Canada Mall, a high end mall in Newmarket and he made my daughter's dancing shoes look like new. He fixed everything as my daughter needed within half an hour before mall closing time. He also gave me a discount since I had paid a heavy price to another shoe repair guy. what a friendly service. Knowledgeable and experienced staff. Great craftsmanship. Great prices. Fast service. What are you waiting for?

Very rude owner and terrible service! My newly "repaired" boot broke again on the second wear. When began to ask politely if there was something stronger it could be fixed with the owner thought I was asking for a refund and became very rude and argumentative. I certainly will NOT give him my business again!
