Had MP HVAC install brand new pool heater on June 28th, 2022. Owner brought his apprentice. After 1.5 hrs owner said he couldn't get heater to ignite, therefore they left without completing the job and I had to call in Pentair. Pentair Gas Guy came 2 days later & as soon as back panel removed he immediately saw the problem. MP HVAC twisted the value out of place; that's the value installed by the manufacturer that is up and down which is proper. Now it was twisted & sideways. Plus reason heater wouldn't ignite is it's a 120V unit not a 240V unit. Even the manual had the correct voltage. Owner, Mehran had manual in his hand and didn't read it. Due to problem Mehran couldn't turn heater ON otherwise the warranty would be over. Even though I did my due diligence: I checked beforehand and saw that the owner had his TSSA license for a Gas Fitter G2, he stated he had installed hundreds of pool heaters; that was false as I found out; plus I reviewed online reviews and spoke to him before hiring him. Note this: The company name is MP HVAC at 245 Patricia Ave, Toronto, Ontario & I confirmed that is the true name with Service Ontario on June 28, 2022. I did this because Mehran could not tell me the name of his business because he uses all sorts of names, one's that do not belong to him. His business is sole proprietorship. The photos attached to his reviews belong to a different business known as MP HVAC Heating & AC also known as MP HVAC Heating and Air Conditioning. I was very disappointed with the quality of work because there was no quality. MP HVAC shouldn't be in Gas business at all.
