I purchased a new chuck for my 1/2 in drill, but could not get the old one off. I stopped into the shop and explained my predicament to a very friendly service person. She took my tool and new chuck into the back to check with someone and came back in what seemed like a minute, with the new chuck attached. I was shocked but very happy and asked how much. Industrial Power Tool is a family owned business that has operated for 5 decades. Don Johnson, who originally founded the business, moved it to the little yellow building on Spiller Road 35 years ago. In 1992, the business was taken over by Hellmut Schmidt, and 14 years ago Hellmut's daughter Sue began managing the shop. Due to the need for a larger space, we moved the business to its current location in Calgary.
At Industrial Powertool, we repair a number of mechanical and electrical tools. We are well-known in the area for being experts in our craft, and we receive repair requests from all over Canada.
Local shop repairs are available as well as shipping.
