I have many years worth of good experiences at this spa and .... To be honest... this 'one star' keyboard hero sounds like a bit of lying b**** 'c u next Tuesday' These packages have rules and guildlines....just like any coupon. You buy a deal from Groupon.... It has parameters....you use a coupon for Wendy's... One coupon per person and expires on this date. So to try to trash this well established family owned business because you didn't read the terms of what you were buying makes you the only one at fault here. Not the hardworking girls at this salon trying to make the best out of a terrible promo that they decided to 'help out' Elite spa has been amazing to so many clients for so many years. They are Brockville's top earning salon and have the most education of any competitor in the area. They are kind and loving and would bend over backwards to accommodate any client. Their professionalism is appreciated as much as their talent. You have problems about the tiny bit of $ you put out? Go complain to the person you paid!!! Stop 'grandstanding' about you paying for polish... I'm mean geez... Boo hoo 😴

They had a great promotion going on before the holidays. Total SCAM!!!!!!!!!! They had these gift certificates selling 4 packages. It almost seemed too good to be true. Well trust me, it was!!! We booked two of our 4 treatments (because they wouldn't allow us to book more than two at a time, which was fine). Upon booking, we were advised that there was a mistake on the booklet and there would be an additional $10 charge for products. Fine. No big deal, it happens. We asked for an upgrade to our mani and pedi for extra $$. Again, all fine. When we got there, we were also advised that there was further errors on the packages that we were sold. Treatement #4 no longer includes a massage as they have no massage therapists on hand??? Why is it in the packages then if you don't have a massage therapist? Can't do anything about it and the next booklets to be printed will not include the massage. Great. But that was the selling point of the whole thing. So what are you going to do in replacement of that massage we asked?? Well nothing. Really? We paid for the package deal, including the massage. Honor it somehow. Give us a free haircut. Something!!! Throw me a bone here!!! Nope. Nothing. Ok. Proceed with our treatments. Go for mani pedi. What a joke. Put my feet in scalding water (in dollarama dish bucket). Fine. Move on. Supposed to be a massage of hands and arms, and feet and legs? Non existant. Rub my hands and feet with lotion. I could've done that in the comfort of my home. Cause it was not a massage by any means. Oh, and the extras, was actually not a deeper longer massage of any sorts. The extra was to have my nails painted? Isn't that normally part of a mani/pedi? So that extra to have my nails painted cost me $25. My hands and feet look exactly the same as they did before I walked in there, plus a coat of nail polish. Second part of the package. Same thing. Ended up costing us extra of $110 between my girlfriend and I, and walked out of there with a sour taste in our mouth. If you are considering buying one of these complete packages booklets for a really good price? DON'T. its a scam to get you in their spa so they can overcharge you for everything anyway. Don't expect it to be a wonderful, pleasant experience. The people were nice for the most part. The person at reception was really trying too hard and annoying (my opinion). But all in all, it wasn't a good experience and I would not recommend. Maybe they were having an off day, but you don't offer all these services for a certain price, to then say we "HAVE" to pay the extra product fee because that was a mistake. And you don't remove one of the things on the package without replacing it with another, especially seeing as we had already paid for it. I understand for the new ones to be sold, make the change, advise clients before they buy. And you saying it was outsourced and sold by someone else and not you, fine. But make sure it is done properly. They made the massage out to be the selling point. Only to get there and it doesn't exist. Just all around bad business if you ask me.
