Commercial Safety Glass has been in business for 42 consecutive years making it one of the oldest independent glass companies in Nova Scotia. Our owner Terry Leblanc grew fascinated with the window and glass industry at a young age. He recalls watching a glazier repair a window in his classroom. His interest in glass was sparked, and he grew compelled to learn more. In 1968, he applied to Pilkington Glass and worked there for a year. He eventually moved to Vancouver (Downtown Glass ? Powell Street/Bullards Glass). In 1973, he moved to Edmonton where he worked for Ray?s Glass and Central Glass. By 1976, Terry saw the opening of Commercial Safety Glass here in HRM and Terry hasn't looked back since. As the years passed, Terry became very knowledgeable in custom glass shower installation and is pleased to offer this knowledge to the public in a competitive way.
