When the boys came home from the war they were men. They settled into the normal way of life, got jobs married and had children. but they missed the comradeship of life on a ship. (When you are on a ship approximately 35 ft. wide and 100 ft. long, eat and sleep in the same area as 60 other Sailors you get pretty close) They would meet at the Legion rooms but the Army, Navy fought different wars and they had very little in common. In the summer they would get together by the pond on the Dent Farm.
