Pen and Paper opened its doors on August 1, 1989 at the same location it is in today. Leo Jansens combined his previous experience in retail and printing to offer a unique selection of stationery and printing services to the Winnipeg marketplace. As the years have passed, the store has expanded both its size and what it offers to its customers. For example, a good selection of paints, brushes and other supplies are now stocked for artists. While the majority of our clientele are located in the northeast part of Winnipeg, we do have regular customers in other parts of Winnipeg and Manitoba, and exposure over the internet has resulted in orders from various places in both Canada and the USA.
