Owners Greg Gagliardi and Greg Masi welcome you as they celebrate their tenth anniversary as the destination Italian restaurant in the city. Bellissimo (meaning Beautiful) started out as a 25-seat dining room that through the years has grown to 140 seats, consisting of a main dining room, lounge, private dining room and patio. As a small owner/operated establishment, Bellissimo prides itself on creating a welcoming place where staff and patrons can feel like family. Our food gets people talking! Greg Masi works with his talented Chefs to create an amazing dining experience for all those either looking to be adventurous or those looking for classic Italian cuisine. “We have something here for everyone, our Chefs work on creating unique recipes using local products and fresh ingredients. I’m proud to say that we make almost everything in house, from our dressings and sauces to our cakes and bread.” Greg Gagliardi runs the front of the house, making sure every person enjoys his or her visit and dining experience. I think its time we came clean on something, when we first opened our doors on June 13th, 2008 we did so with honesty and humility. Our menus were small, and great care went into the preparation of each ingredient and item. We did however make a few mistakes; not least of which was pistacititos. Pistacititos was a spelling mistake that was quickly hidden by the explanation that pistacititos are in fact Sicilian pistachios. This is not correct and our sincerest apologies to everyone who tried to explain pistacititos to their neighborhood grocery clerk. Since then we have upped our proof reading and continued to source the best possible ingredients to prepare the best food we can. The restaurant is still an extension of Bobby’s family dinner table: loud, fun, often educational and accepting, however the offerings have expanded and our staff is committed to making your experience truly memorable. We want you to be regulars, to share your stories with us, and in turn maybe hear a few of ours. The most important thing is that you walk away with a great experience from beginning to end. And this is our commitment to you.
