Over time, the organization grew in both size and scope. In 1983, Joyce Kerslake became a member of the team, and she was followed in 1993 by Barry’s son-in-law Greg Schmidt, who would go on to purchase the business from Barry in 1997. Pam McWilliams joined the team not long after that, in 2000, and the two Jamies, Laker, and Campbell, came aboard in 2007 and 2011 respectively. The expanding team enabled Rob-Lyn to grow beyond an insurance focused organization into one that is able to get to know clients more intimately in order to best help them with every aspect of their financial plan. In 2011, Rob-Lyn Financial moved to the house on 37 Edmonton St. to work in an environment that suited the family feel of the business, allowing themselves as well as clients to feel comfortable and at home in their surroundings. Though much has changed at Rob-Lyn Financial, the principles that Barry held when he founded Rob-Lyn, and the desire to help look after clients, still remain very much at the heart of Rob-Lyn Financial.
