The Club also partnered with the Sunrise Rotary Club to establish a 'green' gym at the Whitby waterfront.

Election season is upon us! ETFO members are encouraged to get involved with local campaigns, display window and lawn signs, donate to political campaigns, and to speak with friends and neighbours about the issues that matter most. The Wynne government has shown little respect for teachers throughout this round of Collective Bargaining. Strips that they, along with the Ontario Public School Board Association, have proposed would seriously undermine our ability to best serve the students in our classrooms. These strips would reduce our autonomy and how we use our judgement and professionalism to determine the needs of our students. We must stand against this.
