I offer counselling to individuals, couples and families, including adults and youth. I am a registered clinical social worker and have been in practice for over 30 years. I can assist you with relationship and family issues; parenting; helpful approaches to managing stress and anxiety; overcoming depression; recovery from eating disorders and addictions, trauma-based guilt and shame, self-esteem, peer issues, life transitions, and changing self-defeating behaviours through mindfulness approaches. I have a special interest in assisting families undergoing the painful process of separation and divorce, including individual adults as well as youth. I bring a rich background of knowledge and experience, as well as a strong belief that we have everything we need in our being to shift our view of who we are and how we live our daily lives. Triana’s counselling career was born from her deep appreciation of communication combined with her desire to help people grow as they progress through personal challenges. Prior to starting her counselling career, Triana had a 20-year career in professional writing, editing, and tutoring. Eventually she moved the emphasis from written communication to verbal communication, knowing that people benefit greatly from talk therapy.
