See Profile Link Her spouse, Bill, provides IT support and also has a background in GIS, forestry, recreation and with using GPS instruments. Linda was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario and studied cartography and geology at Fleming College (Natural Resources), in Lindsay, Ontario. She also has over 13 years experience working for the Ministry of Forests and Range. In February of 2002 she was selected for a 13-month contract with the Regional District of the North Okanagan to do the preparation work and implement their new GIS platform. After completing this contract Linda took the opportunity to upgrade her skills by enrolling in the five-month ArcInfo GIS Program at Okanagan University College in Salmon Arm which she completed in Dec. 2003 with an overall average of 91%. The business was launched in March 2004 starting with its first contract with Golder Associates in Kelowna. Other clients include: Ministry of Forests, Lands and Resource Operations, Recreation Sites and Trails BC, Info-Tel Multimedia, City of Vernon, OMREB, Pacific Agri-Food Research Centre, Vernon Morning Star and Salmon Arm Observer just to name a few.
