Jessica has been a registered Speech-Language Pathologist since 2006 with special interest in early speech and language development. She received her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Alberta and has completed extensive additional training in the areas of prelinguistic communication (skills that come before talking), early language and social communication development, speech sound production (articulation/phonology/apraxia), preschool language development, feeding and swallowing, augmentative communication, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Jessica loves working with kids and families and takes a very play based approach to services. Van Speech strives to provide services that fit into families' lives and to help children to use their communication skills in their daily activities.
