CUPE 1004 is a multi-sector composite union local holding agreements for: the outside workers of the City of Vancouver and of the Board of Parks and Recreation (including Lifeguards employed on city beaches), employees of the Pacific National Exhibition Board (including Playland), Parking Corporation of Vancouver(EasyPark), Vancouver Native Housing Society, Portland Hotel Society (PHS) Community Services Society, Federation of Post-Secondary Educators of BC (College Faculty and Staff Associations throughout BC), British Columbia Institute of Technology Faculty Association, Co-Development Canada (including Cafe Etico), and the Capilano University Students Association. The local comprises of over 2000 members with higher seasonal representation during the operation of Playland and PNE fairtime.
