Jason started his career as an Investment Advisor with RBC Dominion Securities. After four exciting and educational years, Jason left the Royal Bank group to join an internet start-up. Quickly being promoted to a leadership position Jason primarily provided financial guidance and creative marketing expertise to the founder and owner. In the mid 1990’s Jason and Jeanne started buying and renovating apartments and later a 25 suite building in the West End. This continued with the complete renovation and strata-titling of a 94 unit highrise in Prince George and acquisition and management of 54 apartments in Abbotsford, BC. In 2006 Jason partnered with brother-in-law Chris Nelson forming Gordon Nelson Inc. to purchase, renovate and manage six buildings in the West End and two resorts in Tofino, BC – with a vision to enhance the beauty, operational efficiency and usefulness of the original structures. Jason is a director of the BC Apartment Owners and Managers Association.
