The Vancouver Board of Education is comprised of nine trustees, elected every three years at the same time as the mayor and city council. They work to ensure the VSB is the best it can be for all Vancouver students. Their efforts benefit everyone in Vancouver– as our students are tomorrow's citizens and leaders. The board's work is divided among five standing committees to facilitate comprehensive discussion of school district matters. Following each committee meeting, recommendations are forwarded to the full board for approval.
