Checkwitch Poiron Architects Inc. (CPA) is an internationally recognized award-winning architectural firm with offices in Nanaimo and Vancouver, British Columbia. Cutler is a Vancouver BC-based interior design and architecture firm with a focus on retail interior design and architectural project management with clients across all of Canada. Founded in 2009 by president Jeff Cutler and creative director and interior designer Natalie Cutler, Cutler specializes in retail, commercial, and real estate development projects for companies of all sizes. We are passionate about our work, and we show it through excellent creative design and dedicated project management. We care about building beautiful spaces that work well, and our small team eschews typical corporate bloat and allows us to work quickly and efficiently. We maintain a constant sense of forward motion and seize every possible opportunity. We offer construction services, interior design of all kinds (commercial, retail, office, and multi-family), architectural design and project management, real estate project management, wayfinding, space planning, and tenant improvement services. We can plan a project from the ground up. If needed, we can establish basic concepts, help with branding, creative design, feasibility, site reviews, and scheduling. From there, we can take a project into pre-construction renderings and permitting, including site surveying, material selection, procurement of drawings, interior merchandising, A/V and security, building permits, and vendor selection. Then we bring those drawings to life, procuring materials and placing the finishing touches on a completed, prepared space through contract administration, vendor management, lighting, staging, and material procurement. HCMA Architecture + Design is a firm of over 50 staff members that has been recognized internationally and nationally for service and design excellence. The studio environment in both our Vancouver and Victoria offices, intentionally open to foster dialogue and problem solving, supports our collaborative approach. Our four principals and nine associates are directly involved in projects, working continuously with larger project teams. HCMA has worked on a broad range of building types including education, civic, cultural, recreation and health-care.
