The mission of Reaching Out, which is operated by the Changing Addictive Attitudes Recovery Society of British Columbia, is to provide abstinence based support and recovery services to individuals who suffer from alcoholism, drug addiction, and crime addiction. Our services are designed to encourage the development of new coping mechanisms, support networks, healthy lifestyles and independence, within an alcohol and drug free environment. We believe that men need a safe, healthy and non-judgmental environment where they are respected, acknowledged and recognized for who they are. We believe that everyone involved with Reaching Out should have the opportunity to develop their full potential. We believe in abstinence in recovery.
