In 2008 we opened our newest building Wynn Park Villa which is a privately owned home for special care, licensed under the Department of Health & Wellness. We are located in a quiet residential neighbourhood in Truro, NS. The facility has sixty beds (twenty residential and forty long term care). At the heart of this family owned and operated home is our dedication to the promotion of health and dignity, enhancing lives of others in a home like environment. Wynn Park Villa has twenty-four hour nursing care. Our care is reflective of our mission statement. We are committed to providing quality care and recognizing holistic needs and resident rights. In co-operation with residents and families we wish to promote wellness, independence and self-determination. Residents personalize their rooms with pictures and personal treasures. Increased safety is provided with call bell system and ceiling lifts. Each nursing unit has a nursing station, a surveillance security system, television room and dining room where home cooked meals are provided.
