Michael..don't play with your food!" As a mother of four boys, Mrs. Kohn certainly had her hands full. Her youngest son was particularly challenging when it came to the dinner table. Michael continues to play with food as a photographer for major corporations such as Nestle and Bacardi. His relentless attention to detail and his eye for the essential, have made many mouths water over his food photography as well as his advertising photography for major campaigns. Michael packaging photography and product photography grace everything from Triscuits to Real Dairy Ice Cream.

I love taking pictures. I’m not exactly sure when it all started for me, but I think it was just before my first daughter was born that I REALLY got into it, around 2006. Before then, I took a lot of photos, it was a thing to do with a camera, but now, I finally had subjects to shoot that spoke to my heart. I initially worked with a wonderful photographer and friend, Franc Natale, whom I credit as an inspiration, and thereafter opened my own studio. I then gradually moved towards event photography, specifically weddings and bar / bat mitzvahs, still using the studio for headshots and maternity sessions.
