Libby's art gallery was established in 1978 on King Street, Toronto. Our art business has developed over the years to encompass all aspects of art collecting to service the growing needs of Libby's clientele. Shows: Gallery shows are held eight months of the year including living artists and shows specializing in historical art. Christine changed her career focus in 1997 from the corporate world to a full time commitment to painting. She is a graduate from York University’s Creative Arts program and has studied with Harold Klunder, Peter Kolisnyk, Brian Atyeo, John Leonard, David Hannan, and Steve Rose at the Neilson Park Creative Centre, Bridgewater Artist Retreat and at the Haliburton School of Fine Arts. She has participated in the "Artist in Residence Programme" with the Halton Region Conservation Authority at Crawford Lake, Halton, Ontario. Christine was accepted as a member to the Ontario Society of Artists in 2012. She was on the Board of Directors for the Neilson Park Creative Centre for several years. Christine was an active volunteer at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Art Rental and Sales division for 12 years where she consulted with AGO clients to help them select art for their homes or offices. Christine is actively involved with the Toronto Art scene and a diverse group of fellow artists.

The Canadian Index of Wellbeing: A new approach to measuring how Canadians' lives are getting better – or worse – in areas that matter: health, standard of living, quality of the environment, time use, education and skills, community vitality, civic engagement, and arts and culture. The Foundation also awards the Annual Fellowship In Public Policy and the annual Ruth Atkinson Hindmarsh Award. The Atkinson Economic Justice Fellowships support social change leaders to continue to think and act for a more just future for all Canadians. Previous winners include immigrant-rights activist Uzma Shakir progressive economist Armine Yalnizyan, former premier Roy Romanow and housing activist Cathy Crowe. Applications are not accepted.
