We are centered in the heart of Toronto's Junction BIA and our goal is to provide our guests with a fitness experience beyond the "big box" and overcrowded gyms that they are used to. We cater to all types of people from any fitness background. We transform the fitness experience from a monotonous set of exercises to training regimes that provide variability and excitement. In addition, our focus on community will ensure that you will have fun while meeting like minded positive people along the way. Our program focuses on natural and functional movements to support the development of biomechanically correct fundamental and specialized excerises that can be translated to everyday life. These movements are usually executed in an interval, “For time”, or “For reps” style workout, giving members an opportunity to record results and identify improvement when repeated in the future and so that our guests can get the well known benefits of high intensity interval workouts. Movement come from a variety of top level athletic training ares including calisthenics, gymnastics, mixed martial arts, Olympic weight lifting, plyometrics and much more. Our guests are people from all walks of life, ranging from business men to stay-at-home mothers, and even emergency services personnel. While each member has his or her own personal set of goals, our fitness program is designed to benefit and get everyone into the best shapes of their lives.

Every woman has a leading role in her own unfolding life story. Through many years spent in fitness & dance facilities, I have heard hundreds of personal stories and realize that there are a multitude of reasons “why” women attend “class”. Some women attend when they are inspired to express inner joy and their love of dance; others when they find themselves to be in a situation which they need to understand or change. Whatever the case, it seems to me that women attend “class” in order to see themselves reflected in one another’s experience. Belly dance is a way for women to better understand themselves as it is both physically and emotionally moving. This is my personal experience of this magical, mythical, middle-eastern dance and the primary motivator for the creation of the HiP KiK Belly Dance and Fitness Studio. When a woman senses that there is a mythical dimension to something she is undertaking, that knowledge touches and inspires deep creative centres within her. I invite you to accompany us as we discover ourselves and one another through this ancient feminine art form. My name is Souhaer Zarik and I invite you to join us in the dance of self discovery.
