The skills he has learned at Kohai have been invaluable. Our family is now able to dine in a restaurant, go to a movie and even travel. Our family is grateful to the dedicated staff at Kohai. The Brain Injury Society of Toronto supports ABI survivors and their family members. Our members are children, parents, teens, spouses, and grandparents. Membership is open to anyone in the community with an interest in the challenges that come with living with the effects of brain injury. Professionals and service providers are also welcome as members of BIST. BIST is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors representing community stakeholders including: survivors, service providers, educators and professionals.
