What began as two young surfers trying to keep up with the growing demand for surf lessons in Tofino back in 1998 has since grown into one of the most passionate, dedicated and qualified team of surf instructors you'll find along Canada's Pacific Coast. Surf Sister was founded in 1999 to promote women’s surfing in Tofino and worldwide. Surf Sister’s goal is not to exclude men from our lessons, rather it’s to make sure that women feel included when trying surfing in Tofino for the first time. Surf Sister introduces women and men of all ages and abilities to the sport of surfing in a safe, fun, and supportive environment, and offers advanced technique classes too. We learn and play on beautiful beaches near Tofino, British Columbia, rated as some of the most spectacular in the world. Come for a group lesson, private lesson or camp or stay and play longer at one of our specialty camps.
