The NorWest Community Health Centres provide health care and health promotion programs in Armstrong, Longlac and Thunder Bay. The team features family physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, counsellors, dietitians, nutrition workers, community health workers, early childcare educators, and support staff. OMG!!!! I have been on hold for 1 hour, then my call is dropped a busy signal. I had to phone again, now I am still on hold! 1 hour and a half later!! What is going on with reception? When I am there for an appointment, the receptionists are sitting and talking to each other, nobody is on the phone, there are like 8 people in the waiting area. I don't understand WHY nobody is answering the phone. Are we being answered in order? if so, how long does it take to book an appointment and move on to the next phone call? Pretty simple, you cant be THAT busy! Answer the dam phones! This is so unacceptable for a clinic. I am still on hold as I am writing this review, and it has been 1 hour and 45 minutes!!! So much for "your call is important please stay on the line". People have lives, I have things to do, I can't be waiting on the phone for 2 hours to change an appointment. I can't believe this. if there were zero stars I would choose that, but I can't.

The Behavioural Sciences Centre (BSC) helps clients in Thunder Bay and across Northwestern Ontario in two distinct areas: counselling and assessments. The MS Society of Canada has a membership of 28, 000. It is the only national voluntary organization in Canada that supports both MS research and services for people with MS and their families. The MS Society is governed by a National Board of Directors comprised of 27 volunteer members who are elected annually. The seven regional divisions and nearly 120 chapters are also governed by elected volunteer boards of directors. Some 1, 500 volunteers serve on MS Society national, division and chapter boards and committees. An estimated 13, 500 women and men are volunteers for service programs, fund raising events, public awareness campaigns and social action activities. The head office of the MS Society is located in Toronto, Ontario. Division offices are located in Dartmouth, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Regina, Edmonton, and Vancouver. The mission of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada is: To be a leader in finding a cure for multiple sclerosis and enabling people affected by MS to enhance their quality of life.
